Dr. Kiri-an Bridgewater-Lyon is the founder of S.H.E. Women’s Wellness Centre. Keen on building strong relationships with her patients, she focuses not just on the physical ailments, but on the whole woman. Whether it is your first gynaecological visit, navigating your reproductive years, pregnancy or menopause, Dr. Bridgewater-Lyon will ensure that you feel comfortable and heard at each consultation. Her bubbly and relatable personality helps to create a relaxed environment, and her attention to detail builds confidence to ensure each patient’s satisfaction.
Dr. Bridgewater-Lyon fell in love with Obstetrics and Gynaecology while pursuing her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. During this degree, she attained honours in Internal Medicine and Surgery and a distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She went on to complete her internship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados, where she was the recipient of the Most Outstanding Intern Award. Dr. Bridgewater-Lyon returned to Jamaica, where she excelled in her Doctor of Medicine degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of the West Indies. Since then, she has served the women of Jamaica in public hospitals across the island, including the University Hospital of the West Indies, Victoria Jubilee Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. She currently offers in-hospital care at the Andrews Memorial Hospital and Nuttall Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Bridgewater-Lyon believes that staying current on medical advancements is essential to ensuring that her patients have access to the best treatment options. As such, she has completed further training in laparoscopic surgery and cosmetic gynaecology. She is currently a member of the International Society for Gynaecologic Endoscopy, the International Society of Cosmetogynecology and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
In addition to her compassionate and thorough obstetric and gynaecologic care, Dr. Bridgewater-Lyon’s training in cosmetic gynaecology sets her apart, as one of only a few females in the field offering these services.
She aspires for S.H.E. Women’s Wellness Centre to positively impact the culture of women’s health by creating an open and accessible space for patients to learn about their bodies and improve, maintain and advocate for their well-being.

Dr. Robyn Khemlani completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of the West Indies. She also completed her Doctor of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and pursued a Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the same university. Her practice includes the complete spectrum of obstetrics and gynaecology with a special interest in high-risk pregnancies.
Focused on giving her patients a safe environment and listening to their needs, Dr. Khemlani offers gentle guidance while applying her experience and skills. Her priority is creating great outcomes by arming her patients with the right knowledge and informing them of their best healthcare options. She is dedicated to educating her patients and offers counselling on proper birth control methods and the prevention of diseases such as cervical cancer.
As a lover of knowledge, Dr. Khemlani has also conducted research analyzing maternal outcomes and the psychological impact of various fertility issues in Jamaica. She is also a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Medical Association of Jamaica, Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr. Khemlani completed rotations at Interhealth Canada Cockburn Town Medical Centre and Cheshire Hall Medical Centre in Turks and Caicos. She has also done residencies locally at The University Hospital of the West Indies, Cornwall Regional Hospital, and Spanish Town Hospital.
Currently, she has admitting privileges at Andrews Memorial Hospital. Dr. Khemlani continues to provide excellent health care to women through expertise, communication, and education.

Dr. Gabrielle Meeks-duQuesnay has over 10 years of primary care experience and over five years of experience in non-invasive cosmetic procedures. Dr. Meeks-duQuesnay completed her Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery at the University of the West Indies before achieving certifications in advanced neurotoxin and dermal filler injectables, sclerotherapy, medical micro-needling and Platelet-rich plasma from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She is currently a Medical Officer at the University of the West Indies University Health Services, and Medical Aesthetics Director and injector at Revive Medical Aesthetics and Wellness.

As one of two International Board Certified Lactation Consultants in Jamaica, Simeca Alexander-Williamson provides a variety of services to support breastfeeding parents and their babies. She provides care and support from pregnancy through infancy and beyond. Simeca holds a certificate from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, a Master in Public Health from the University of the West Indies and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Technology.
Simeca helps expecting parents, whether they have had a child before or are new to parenthood, prepare for breastfeeding. She seeks to improve their overall lactation experience by offering advice on what to expect when breastfeeding. Simeca supports mothers experiencing issues, including difficulty latching, painful nursing, low milk production and weaning. She also offers her expertise to assist mothers seeking to transition to pumping, including educating them on best practices and recommended equipment.
With an extensive knowledge of nutrition and the way diet and activity impact the body over time, Simeca guides parents to make healthy choices for their babies and themselves.
In addition to the in-person support Simeca offers at S.H.E. Women’s Wellness Centre, she also supports parents through virtual platforms and home visits. Workshops are a key resource for the mothers she serves, bringing women together to learn in a nurturing group setting.
Through her company, Cradle of Life Limited, Simeca is currently curating and developing locally made products to assist women on their breastfeeding journey. She also continues to serve as an Advocacy Officer for The Global Health Advocacy Project executed by the Heart Foundation of Jamaica, where she advocates for policy reforms to reduce the incidence of non-communicable diseases in Jamaica.
Ms. Jhanille Brooks is a Licensed Associate Counselling Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with children and adults. She was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to completed her Masters in Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counselling at the University of South Florida.
Ms. Brooks provides treatment, care, and support for a full range of mental health issues and offers individual, couples and group therapy. She also facilitates support groups, bringing individuals together to talk openly and honestly about their feelings while improving skills to cope with challenges. This variety of services allows clients to choose the path that best serves their unique mental health needs.
Her passion is raising mental health awareness and advocating for better mental health care for all while breaking the stigma associated with mental illness.
Jhanille’s professional experience includes serving as a Counselling Psychologist at Singram Medical Center, Windsor Wellness Centre, and Caribbean Tots to Teens. She also has experience leading community outreach initiatives focused on substance misuse prevention and intervention and HIV/AIDS prevention/treatment while at Rise Life Management Services and the National Council on Drug Abuse.
She is currently an adjunct Lecturer at the University of Technology.
